VLC communications
Using the spectrum of visible light we can transmit essential information through the existing road infrastructure.
RF communications
Using radio frequency based communications we try to discover the complementary features of VLC.
Active and passive safety systems
We develop active and passive safety systems dedicated to the automotive field, based on RF-VLC hybrid communications.
Optical communications laboratory dedicated to the study of VLC-RF technologies
The optical communications laboratory is an interdisciplinary research laboratory within the Research Center MANSiD al „Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava.
- We channel all our efforts towards the design, development and evaluation of solutions dedicated to the safety of drivers, pedestrians, but also to other traffic participants.
- We use emerging technologies capable of providing immediate answers within designed and developed systems.
- We support human-car interaction by involving new technologies dedicated to autonomous vehicles.
- We test developed systems in real traffic conditions and provide a viable perspective for the automotive industry.
